The Problem
I’ve added an external asset (image, video, CSS/JS file), however, when I change this asset externally from Blocs, the changes are not reflected in the Blocs preview or exported version of my site.
The Cause
It’s very likely the project is set to embed assets and not link to them. New projects in Blocs are set to embed assets into project files by default.
The Solution
To address this issue, open the main project settings and disable embed assets in a project file. Please note, disabling this function will not relink assets within a project to the original assets, it will only take effect and link to newly added assets.
