The Solution
Yes, there are various ways to hide the design controls that are displayed within the sidebars.
• From the main menu View > Interface > Hide Interface.
• Right clicking the sidebar tab area at the top of each sidebar.
• Right clicking on the design canvas, then choosing the interface options on the context menu.
